Statista Opens New Branch in the Heart of London

Hamburg/London, September 21, 2015 – Statista was able to rapidly increase its market share in Europe over the last few months. As a result, the statistics portal decided to set up another branch in the heart of London. Juliane Gatschke, Manager of Customer Relations, explains this latest milestone in the company history: "Statista’s success has always been based on the importance of being there for our customers; whether individually, locally or on an international level.  I’m excited for the challenge of helping my new colleagues continue Statista’s success story from the heart of London." Over the course of the last three years, Juliane Gatschke was responsible for managing the customer service department at the Hamburg headquarters. Now, she will be able to share her experience and expertise with her new British colleagues.

Among the factors for Statista’s growing popularity and reputation in the United Kingdom are media partners like The Independent. Furthermore, many renowned universities in England, for example the University of Westminster, the University of Manchester or the Imperial College of London, signed up for a Statista license. “It’s the best product with the best presentation that I have ever seen in this context,” says Anselm Nye, Collection Manager at Queen Mary University.

The London office is the next logical step in the global expansion of Statista. At the same time, the headquarters in Hamburg were substantially expanded and the colleagues in New York moved to bigger offices on Broad Street with 30th floor views of the Hudson River. A new branch in Madrid is to follow in early 2016. We are happy about the international recognition and looking forward to meeting our new, multicultural colleagues.
