Awareness of the meaning of the term LGBT Japan 2018, by age group
This statistic depicts the results of a survey conducted in October 2018 in Japan asking individuals about their awareness of the term "LGBT" and its meaning, sorted by age group. During the surveyed period, over 40 percent of respondents in the age group 20 to 29 years stated to know that LGBT refers to sexual minorities, while only 31.4 percent of people aged 50 to 59 years knew the meaning of LGBT.
