India - daily time spent with friends and family by women employees 2018

This statistic depicts the results of a survey conducted between September and October 2018 about the daily time women employees spend with friends and/or family in India, based on their marital status. About 40 percent of married women spend more than four hours with friends and/or family per day. Around 20 percent of married, single and other relationship status women said that they spent around two to three hours a day with friends and/or family.

The survey question was phrased as follows: How many (hours a day do you spend time with) friends and family?
The survey was conducted using an online interview administered to members of a panel comprising of over 30,000 individuals. The survey classified women as 'married', 'single' or 'other', in which the 'other' category refers to unmarried women who may be in a relationship, or would rather not say.
