This statistic shows the results of a survey on the propensity of the French to host their parent(s) permanently if they needed it, in November 2015. It appears that the majority of respondents declared that they would host their parents permanently if they needed it. However, 24 percent of the interviewees said they would rather not welcome their parents in a permanent way.
