This statistic illustrates the share of young Americans who are optimistic about their future in 2020, by ethnicity. During the survey, 25 percent of African American respondents said that they were very optimistic about their future, compared to eight percent of Asian Americans, 13 percent of Latinxs, and 18 percent of Whites.
