The statistic shows the presidential candidates’ political advertising spending on Facebook and Google in the United States between January and June 2019. According to the findings, the current U.S. president Donald Trump spent 12.7 million U.S. dollars on political advertising on digital ads, out of which Facebook got a larger chunk of the expenditures - 7.9 million U.S. dollars.
