Presidential candidate Amy Klobuchar spent more than 442 thousand U.S. dollars on Facebook ads related to the topic of dark money in the first half of 2019. This comes as no surprise since Klobuchar is one of the seven democratic candidates to promise that their first legislation as president would be an ambitious clean-government bill. Klobuchar was followed by Kamala Harris who spent 118 thousand dollars on Facebook ads related to the topic of dark money. .
