U.S. smart speaker shopping activities 2019, by age group
According to a June 2019 survey among consumers in the United States, the most common shopping activity done on smart speakers was ordering movies, TV shows, music, and other forms of entertainment. However, most smart speaker users appear uninterested in using their device for shopping, with 62 percent of respondents aged 18 to 34 stating that they had never used their smart speakres for shopping.
