Mexico: preferred device for listening to/watching Independence Day festivities 2018
Independence Day in Mexico is an important national holiday officially celebrated on September 16th. Festivities start the evening before, when the president of Mexico re-enacts the "Grito de Independencia", an historical event that is considered the beginning of the independence movement. According to a 2018 survey, the main media device used for watching or listening to Independence Day celebrations in the country is the television, with 80.5 percent of respondents using the device for watching the festivities. In contrast, 3.1 percent of the respondents claimed the radio was their device of choice during these events.
