U.S. opinion on importance of corporate data privacy practices 2019

An April 2019 survey conducted among adults in the United States found that 66 percent of respondents stated that being notified by companies about a data breach was the most important corporate data privacy practice. Ranking second was the ability to opt out of one's personal data being sold to other companies, with 61 percent of respondents stating this as most important.
