Poland: impact of smog on children's health 2018-2019

In 2019, the hypothesis that the concentration of suspended particulates in Poland stimulates the long-term development of the following symptoms in children: rhinitis, sneezing, coughing (particulates PM10 and PM2.5) was confirmed. Additionally, 30 percent of parents noticed that the concentration of PM2.5 had an impact on their children's thinking.

* The measurement was conducted daily (every day, about 100 children's health data were collected). Respondents (parents) assessed the health condition of their children and the incidence of colds every day around 19-20 hours. Respondents received a reminder of the need to complete the questionnaire every day at the same time (on a mobile phone, through a dedicated mobile application).
