According to a survey conducted among company executives in Italy in 2019, 39 percent of companies expected to reduce costs thanks to the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) projects. Another third of the respondents expected an improvement of the existing products and services and the creation of new ones. By contrast, only one in ten respondents expected an increase in employees' efficiency.
