Europe: share of people following a vegetarian diet, by country

According to a 2018 survey, five percent of Europeans were vegetarians. Not eating meat was especially popular in Italy and the United Kingdom. Of the Italians taking part in this survey, six percent stated to be vegetarian. By comparison, among the Czechs this was only two percent.
