Preferred streaming genres to binge-watch from bed in the U.S. 2019
Binge-viewing content from streaming services in bed is popular among Americans, according to a survey held in 2019 which showed that the majority of responding adults had stayed awake all night multiple times in the last year to do so. The most popular genre to binge-view from bed was comedy, with 57.96 percent of Americans citing this as their preferred genre to watch at night, even if this meant less sleep. Other favorites included action and adventure, drama, and documentaries.
