Brazil: WhatsApp usage frequency 2023

During a survey fielded in Brazil in January 2023 among mobile internet users who had WhatsApp installed on their phones, 86 percent of respondents said they used this app every day. In January 2020, 93 percent of users surveyed stated the same. Additionally, more than half of news consumers aged 45 and older in Brazil used WhatsApp as a source of news.
