Number of employees of daily newspaper publishers in Sweden 2009-2021
In the period from 2009 to 2021, the number of employees working for daily newspaper publishing companies in Sweden fluctuated, peaking at 160 people in 2016 but amounting to just 34 in 2020. In 2021 however, the number of employees grew to 62 people again. Whilst the data does not include freelancers and is based on the reporting given by individual companies, it is clear that the number of full-time employees at daily newspapers in Sweden is on the decline.
