Availability of calories from intake of livestock products worldwide 1962-2015

If compared to other macro-regions, the countries of East Asia experienced the sharpest increase in consumption of livestock products over the last decades. In 1962, the daily diet included only 57 calories from meat, eggs, milk, and dairy products. In 2015, the estimated daily intake amounted to 460 calories per person.
