Change in Consumer Confidence Index in Poland 2020-2024
coronavirus (COVID-19) had an impact on the current trends in individual consumption. In December 2022, CCI was higher by 2.1 percentage points compared to the previous month. In December 2023, the value of the current consumer confidence indicator was lower by 15.2 percentage points. In April 2024, the current consumer confidence indicator reached a value of -11.5; it was 0.8 percentage points higher than the previous month and 20.7 percentage points higher than a year before.
Current consumer confidence indicator is the average of balances of evaluations changes in the household's financial condition, changes in the general economic situation of the country, and currently made major purchases.
