Ginger, garlic, and lemon imports during COVID-19 in Russia 2020
Between April 1 and April 6, 2020, the volume of ginger imported into Russia increased by over 2.2 thousand metric tons compared to the same period of the previous year, which could be explained by the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19). However, the imports of fresh lemons, commonly considered remedy for supporting the immune system, saw a decrease over the observed time frame.
