Change in paid video subscribers in India 2017-2021
India's paying video service users grew at nearly 19 percent in 2019 compared to the previous year, estimated to reduce to about 12 percent by 2021. With over a 300 percent surge in 2017 and 2018, the country's video subscribers propelled India into global rankings for video consumption. The average Indian watched at least two hours of digital content, mostly via his/her phone during the measured time period.
