During the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic from 2020 to 2021, a survey was conducted in the United States to determine the public comfort level with attending sporting events during this time. Among those surveyed in June 2020, 20 percent indicated that they would be comfortable with attending a sporting event. By June 2021, 43 percent of respondents were comfortable with attending a sporting event.
