A 2019 survey focused on the impact of digital technology on business areas of museums in England. According to the study, about 54 percent of the surveyed museums believed that digital technology had a positive impact on boosting the public profile of the museum. Meanwhile, 47 percent of the survey sample claimed that digital tools helped to reach a bigger audience.
