Final energy consumption in Sub-Saharan Africa 2020, by city
Among the five selected cities, Cape Town in South Africa had the highest annual energy consumption of energy, at over 141 million gigajoules. Kampala ranked second and consumed a total of roughly 36 million gigajoules, followed by Dakar in Senegal and Yaoundé in Cameroon. Tsévié in Togo had the least consumption with less than 500 thousand gigajoules per year.
