App downloads of online travel platforms in Latin America 2021-2022

Airbnb was the most downloaded travel app in Latin America in 2021 and maintained its ranking as of July 2022, according to data published by AppMagic. In both periods, the American short-term rental platform surpassed Booking.com, which was the second most downloaded travel app in the region. Between January and July 2022, each of these two apps registered over six million downloads in major Latin American countries.
