Income gap in bank account ownership MENA 2017, by country
In 2017, Lebanon had the highest gender gap in the share of bank account owners at about 25 percent. The average income gap in the share of bank account owners in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region was about 15 percent. Countries in conflict and in transition showed smaller employment growth than the rest in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
