Electricity generation from renewables in Kenya 2000-2020
Electricity generation from renewable energy sources in Kenya slightly increased to 9.9 terawatt hours in 2020, approximately the same level reached in 2018. That year, renewable-generated electricity achieved a peak of 10 terawatt hours. Renewable electricity generation in Kenya has been increasing overall since 2000, when the output registered was 2.1 terawatt hours.
