Food availability score in Ethiopia 2012-2022
In 2022, the food availability score for Ethiopia was 44.7 out of 100. This was a drop compared to the previous year, when the score was 47.5 points. During the period under review, the food availability index was highest in 2016. Food affordability, availability, quality and safety, as well as sustainability and adaptation make up the four major categories of the Global Food Security Index (GFSI).
