Main causes of deaths among women in Angola 2019
Cardiovascular diseases were the most frequent cause of casualties among women in Angola as of 2019 - with a rate of some 82.5 deaths per 100,000 population. AIDS/HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases followed closely, with nearly the same death rate at 82 casualties per 100,000. Respiratory infections and tuberculosis, and maternal and neonatal disorders also ranked among the main causes of death among Angolan women.
