U.S. parent discomfort with their teen's online behavior 2020
A survey conducted in June 2020 in the United States found that 35 percent of parents felt that teenagers were too open and lacked privacy on their social media profile and 20 percent felt that they were being too sexual. In addition, eleven percent of respondents stated that their teen's behavior on their online profiles was reckless. Over 50 percent of surveyed parents reported to be uncomfortable with how their teens portrayed themselves on social media.
