U.S.: opinion on government role in energy policy 2023

According to a 2023 survey on carbon neutrality conducted in the United States, 66 percent of respondents stated they believed the U.S. government should actively encourage the production of wind and solar power. When it came to encouraging oil and gas production, feelings were mixed. Survey results show that 34 percent of U.S. adults support government encouragement of oil and gas drilling, while another 30 percent opposed it.
