Russian border crossings to and from the EU 2022, by country
During the week from October 3 to October 9, 2022, approximately 6.6 thousand Russian nationals crossed the border from Russia to Finland. The number of legal crossings in the opposite direction over the same time period was nearly 3.6 thousand higher. Overall from February 24, 2022, when the Russian invasion of Ukraine began, around 513.4 thousand entries into Finland by Russian citizens were recorded, compared to nearly 474.5 thousand departures. The second-leading European Union (EU) country by Russian entries was Estonia, at over 353.5 thousand.
