Africa: soft drinks' eco-friendly packaging opinions 2022

In 2022, a survey conducted in selected African countries found that most respondents thought carbonated drink manufacturers should introduce eco-friendly packaging. The question was related to Sprite's new PET bottles, and respondents were asked if other manufacturers should follow the example. In Kenya, 65 percent of the surveyed population stated that other soft drink brands should definitely do the same.
