Survey on current and future energy sources among business enterprises globally 2022
In a 2022 survey inquiring about business activities in the face of the energy transition, a significant share of respondents stated that their organization planned to increase their share of renewable electricity consumption. Some 25 percent of respondents reported their organizations consumed renewable electricity as the primary energy source, while 53 percent of respondents reported their organization planned on primarily using renewable energy in the future.
