New Zealand: Prime Minister preferences 2022

In a survey conducted in November 2022 regarding political preferences in New Zealand, around 29 percent of respondents stated they preferred Jacinda Ardern as New Zealand's Prime Minister. On January 18, 2023, Jacinda Ardern announced she planned to step down as the nation's leader in February, and called for a general election to be held on October 14, 2023.

Survey conducted by CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing) via mobile phone and CAWI (Computer Assisted Web Interviewing) via online panels.

The data have been weighted to align with Stats NZ population counts for age, gender, region, ethnic identification, and education level.

Sample sizes vary slightly for different sampling periods, however are always greater than 1,000.
