Diagnosed cancers among females aged 0-19 years in South Africa 2019, by type
Kidney cancer was the most highly diagnosed cancer among females between the ages of zero and 19 years with 58 diagnoses in 2019. The second most commonly diagnosed cancer was leukemia with 57 diagnoses in the same year. Collectively, these two leading cancers contributed around 28 percent of all diagnosed cancers in this age group.
