Import value of man-made staple fibers into Angola 2015-2021
In 2021, Angola imported approximately 11 million U.S. dollars worth of man-made staple fibers. This was the lowest value among the years under review. Majority of these synthetic fibers were imported from China. Man-made staple fiber refers to a type of synthetic fiber that is produced in short lengths, typically ranging from a few centimeters to a few centimeters long. Unlike continuous filaments, which are long and continuous fibers, staple fibers are made by cutting or breaking down longer fibers into shorter lengths.
