Support for the founding principles of the NHS in the UK in 2023

As of 2023, 65 percent of respondents in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland believed the principle 'the NHS should be free at the point of delivery' should definitely still apply to NHS services, with a further 21 percent reporting they believe it should probably still apply. Support for these three founding principles of the NHS was found to be very high among respondents, with only a small share of respondents believing they shouldn't apply in 2023.
