Get in touch with us nowThe share of extra-EU exports - that is, exports from EU countries to non-EU countries - that go to China tripled over the period from 2002 to 2022. China's development as a key export market accelerated particularly quickly following the global recession of 2009, as China's growing middle classes propped up global consumer demand.
