Sports betting participation of young adults US 2023

An April 2023 survey analyzed the share of young adults who took part in sports betting activities in the United States. Overall, 27.5 percent of the sample placed a bet on a sports event or league using a mobile app or website. On the other hand, roughly 42 percent of respondents reported that they did not participate in sports betting of any type as of the survey period.
