French opinion on which party emerged stronger after passing the new immigration bill
According to a survey conducted on December 20, 2023, just after the French Parliament voted in favor of a new immigration bill, 65 percent of French respondents believed Marine Le Pen's far-right party, Le Rassemblement National, emerged stronger after passing the bill. By comparison, only 23 percent of those surveyed thought Emmanuel Macron and his government emerged stronger.
