According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2023, around 50 percent of respondents stated that they would be willing to donate organs posthumously. This was the most commonly accepted type of organ donation, with only one in five reportedly willing to make a living donation. One in four had no intention of becoming an organ donor of any type.
