Important qualities in fruits and vegetables preferred by consumers in Denmark 2023
In 2023, 86 percent of Danish survey respondents considered freshness an important factor when purchasing fruits and vegetables. More than half responded that price was also important. Only 21 percent of consumers factored the organic option as very important, whereas alternatives such as “no pesticides” and “consideration for nature and drinking-water” were favored over the organic fruits and vegetables option.
