Share of women on boards in the financial services sector in Norway 2018-2023
The share of women on boards in the financial services industry in Norway increased slightly between 2018 and 2023. In 2018, 43.3 percent of the directors in financial services were female. By 2021, the share of women on boards increased to 45.5 percent. As of 2023, Norway ranked first among European countries in terms of gender diversity on boards of directors, with 47.8 percent of the board seats held by women
