Highest ranked universities worldwide by reputation 2022

In 2021, Harvard University was placed first as the university with the highest reputation score worldwide at 100. Second on the Times Higher Education world university ranking was Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a reputation score of 94.2, followed by the Stanford University.

The scores are based on the number of times an institution is cited by respondents as being "the best" in its field of expertise.
The number one institution has a score of 100 and the scores of all other institutions in the table are expressed as a percentage of the top rating university's score.
