This statistic shows 25 to 34 year olds responses to a survey question asking how much their financial situation was linked to their parents' own financial situation in the United States in 2011. The responses are differentiated by those who live with their parents and those who live independently. 53 percent of respondents who lived with their parents said that their financial situation was either a great deal or somewhat linked to their parents' financial situation.
