Post-War and Contemporary art recorded the highest revenue at fine art auctions worldwide in 2023. That year, these sectors combined generated 53 percent of the global sales value of fine art auctions. Meanwhile, the Modern art sector accounted for 24 percent of total revenue in 2023.
