This statistic depicts the total days of school and work absence with activity limitations caused by asthma among persons with at least one asthma attack in the past year, in the United States in 2008. In that year, among estimated 3.3 million children, aged 5-17, with an asthma attack in the past year there were approximately 10.5 million missed days.
