Mexico: oil reserves 1990-2018

In 2018, the proved oil reserves in Mexico reached 1.1 billion metric tons, a decrease of more than 71 percent in comparison to 2000, when the country's reserves amounted to 3.8 billion tons. Mexico is one of the leading oil producing countries in Latin America, with more than two million barrels produced per day in 2018.
