Currency reserves of selected emerging markets - share of foreign currencies 2011
The statistic shows the share of the 4 leading foreign currencies in the currency reserves of selected emerging markets as of September 2011. The selected emerging markets are China, Russia, Taiwan, Brazil, Korea, India, Hong Kong and Singapore. The currency reserves of these countries amounted to 5.558 trillion U.S. dollars at the time of this survey. The share of the U.S. dollar in the currency reserves of the emerging markets was approximately 61 percent.
