This statistic shows which stores shoppers consider to be a 'discounter' in the United Kingdom (UK), according to an online survey, the results of which were published in March 2014. Of all the stores mentioned, Poundland placed the highest, with 80 percent of respondents considering them a discount store. Poundland, 99p Stores and Poundworld were the leading candidates, as the top three stores most considered as discounters.
